New challenges in Plymouth

Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity (TCHFH) is familiar with building a 4-unit townhouse. But the development in Plymouth brings new challenges for the organization. The townhomes will be located just south of Medicine Lake and will be adjacent to a wetland. Before construction begins, the land requires extensive soil stabilization. Hennepin County and the City of Plymouth have been helpful in assisting TCHFH with the costs related to these endeavors. Three of the townhouses will be two-story units with tuck-under garages, and the fourth will be a one-story unit that is handicap accessible with an attached garage.
