Habitat’s Second Annual Warehouse Sale proved another huge success! By focusing on advertising the event in an array of media outlets, TCHFH exceeded its own expectations. According to Josh Adam, In-kind Donation Associate, “keeping overhead low, the sale netted approximately $80,000—and we could not have done this without the extensive community support of our volunteers and in-kind donors.” This year, new product was added to the inventory, in addition to gently used items. Companies such as Home Depot and Lowe’s stepped up with a large selection of return-to-vendor items. With new items available at 50-75% of retail, the sale offered a fantastic opportunity to stock up on home and garden supplies while supporting the mission of building simple, decent and affordable homes.
