Warehouse Sale nets $80,000 PDF Print E-mail

Habitat’s Second Annual Warehouse Sale proved another huge success! By focusing on advertising the event in an array of media outlets, TCHFH exceeded its own expectations.

According to Josh Adam, In-kind Donation Associate, “keeping overhead low, the sale netted approximately $80,000—and we could not have done this without the extensive community support of our volunteers and in-kind donors.”

This year, new product was added to the inventory, in addition to gently used items. Companies such as Home Depot and Lowe’s stepped up with a large selection of return-to-vendor items. With new items available at 50-75% of retail, the sale offered a fantastic opportunity to stock up on home and garden supplies while supporting the mission of building simple, decent and affordable homes.
