TCHFH is excited to be returning to Chaska and the Clover Ridge development, known around the region for its qualities as a smart growth community. TCHFH last built in Chanhassen and Chaska during the 2001 and 2002 build seasons. Habitat plans to construct and sell four three-bedroom, single-family houses in Chaska during 2007 on land that will feature narrow lots, pedestrian-oriented design, an express bus to downtown Minneapolis, a neighborhood school and close proximity to a network of trails. While the land acquisition costs are more expensive than past single-family builds, TCHFH's growing presence in the west metro continues to position us as a regional partner. Both the master developer and the City of Chaska have been very welcoming and TCHFH looks forward to building in this suburban community. Additionally, TCHFH is discussing the possibility of building five more homes in Clover Ridge in 2008. Contributed by Karl Batalden |
