Volunteer Service Description: Volunteers are needed to help with various projects at the ReStore to improve its appearance and the presentation of the store’s merchandise.
Responsibilities:
- Performing small repairs such as patching cracks and small holes in the concrete floor.
- Assist ReStore employees in maintaining a clean and attractive store.
- Organizing building materials on the sales floor.
Volunteer Impact:Volunteer will play a direct role in creating a positive shopping experience for customers and help make the ReStore successful. The profits from the sale of items at the ReStore will go directly back into the community by enabling TCHFH to build more homes and serve more families.
Age Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to volunteer alone. 14-18 year olds would be allowed to volunteer if they are accompanied by an adult.
Skill Qualifications:Some experience and knowledge of doing small repairs is necessary. Flexibility and the ability to help with a variety of tasks that may arise are also needed.
Time Commitment:Volunteer hours will take place on weekdays between 9:00 and 6:00. We are looking for volunteers to commit to a minimum of one half day per week.
