Volunteer Service Description:  Volunteers are needed to process new inventory into the store management system. 



Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new inventory and searching the Internet for competitive prices
  • Entering items into the QuickBooks Point of Sale software
  • Printing price tags and putting inventory on the shelves


Volunteer Impact:
Volunteer will play a direct role in creating a positive shopping experience for customers and help make the ReStore successful.  The profits from the sale of items at the ReStore will go directly back into the community by enabling TCHFH to build more homes and serve more families.   

Age Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. 

Skill Qualifications:Volunteers must have some prior computer experience and be comfortable learning the QuickBooks software program (training will be provided) 

Time Commitment:Volunteer hours will take place on weekdays between 9:00 and 6:00.  We are looking for volunteers to commit to a minimum of one half day per week.   

Training & Supervision:Will be provided by the ReStore Manager
