The land for the 4 homes was donated to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity (TCHFH) by the City of Hastings. But before TCHFH could begin construction, the area needed excavation and site work. The site is mostly made up of bedrock, which needed to be cut through in order to lay the foundation of the homes and the sewer and water lines. The Dakota CDA allowed TCHFH use of their private road for access to the lots. |
