First Wayzata homes dedicated PDF Print E-mail

Wayzata Dedication On June 23, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity dedicated its first two homes in the city of Wayzata on Gleason Lake Road.  The Wayzata project was particularly unique because it was a joint development with Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners (IOCP).  IOCP acquired the land and performed the site development in exchange for Twin Cities Habitat's construction services of the two twin homes.  One twin was sold to TCHFH families and the other twin will be rented by IOCP families.

During the dedication, homeowner Suleyman Ahmed said, "I'm extremely grateful to live in a neighborhood where my children can grow up without having to live in fear."
