This fall, The McKnight Foundation awarded Twin Cities Habitat a Region and Communties Grant in support of our community outreach and civic engagement activities as well as our planning for how to do this new work in partnership with other advocacy organizations throughout the metro. This investment from the Foundation will serve as the cornerstone of the "Transforming Hearts and Minds" portion of our 2007-2010 Strategic Plan. McKnight's Regions and Communities Grants are awarded to organizations that help increase family stability through affordable housing, create economically viable neighborhoods, and manage regional growth effectively.
