Entrepeneur's Build in its fourth year PDF Print E-mail

The 2006 Entrepreneurs House is the fourth annual community service project conducted by a group of 40 entrepreneurial companies, investors and advisors to sponsor construction of a Twin Cities Habitat home.

This year’s house, part of a ten-unit development in Woodbury called Garden Gate, will be built May 1-19.  The goals are to have 300 volunteers and donations of $75,000 for the Twin Cities area and an additional “challenge” donation of $25,000 to support hurricane-relief efforts in New Orleans. To date, there are approximately 275 volunteers, and the $75,000 Twin Cities goal has been met.  Houa Vang, wife Houa Vue and their three children Sheena, Diana and Miagaotia are eager to help build and move into the house.

John Bergstrom leads the seven-person 2006 Twin Cities Entrepreneur's House steering committee, which also includes Wayne Atkins, Ray Lipkin, Scott Pollei, Gary Smaby, Kevin Spreng and Jeff Tollefson.

The steering committee would like to thank the City of Woodbury for its cooperation and partnership with this project and acknowledge its commitment to building approximately 30 TCHFH homes in the past five years.
