Help North Minneapolis Recover from the Storm

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have experienced severe loss from the devastation that occurred in North Minneapolis on May 22, 2011. We are committed to helping residents in need with their rebuilding efforts. Our goal is to be there every step of the way as folks try and regain some sense of normalcy in their lives.

Twin Cities Habitat has been deeply committed to the revitalization of North Minneapolis. Over the years, we've built more than 100 homes in these neighborhoods. Some of our strongest bonds are with homeowners who suffered damage during the storm. Habitat Staff and AmeriCorps members are helping this week as crew leaders for cleanup.

We know there is a lot of work ahead and we are ready to adapt to meet this challenge. Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is currently assessing how all of our programs (Homebuilding, A Brush with Kindness, Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention, The Habitat ReStore, Advocacy) can help in the rebuilding process.
