Habitat Builds Green

Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity (TCHFH) is close to completing the first LEED certified Habitat for Humanity house in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.  Construction started last Fall in Crystal, and the home will be dedicated in April 2009.

While Twin Cities Habitat has been incorporating green building techniques in our home production for more than a decade, this project will challenge us to push the envelope in green building and sustainable development.
