Support the ReStore

There are many ways to contribute to the ReStore, which relies on the generosity of Habitat for Humanity supporters like you. All products and materials in the ReStore are donated by organizations and individuals. Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity relies on volunteers to staff and serve at the ReStore. The ReStore also relies on individuals to help spread the word; tell friends, family, neighbors, business associates and your faith community about the Twin Cities Habitat ReStore!

Donate

Donating to the ReStore not only helps you find a new home for unwanted or unused items, but also provides us with the inventory we need to resell to the public. Your donation also helps the environment by keeping usable goods out of landfills!

Please bring your donation to the ReStore, located at 510 County Road D West, New Brighton, MN 55112. If you are unable to transport your donation, we can provide pick-up with your $20.00 tax-deductible donation to help us cover the rising cost of gas and maintenance.

Volunteer

The ReStore is a successful source of revenue for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity because individuals continue to generously give of their time, energy, and resources. Our goal is to average 600 hours per month in volunteer support. With this amount of volunteer participation, we are able to keep our paid staff to a minimum, while still providing the highest level of customer service. Volunteer participation also allows Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to dedicate more revenue from the store towards serving working families in need of safe, decent and affordable housing.

Volunteering with the ReStore is a great way to participate with Habitat for Humanity. You can come on your own, bring a business, church or community group, or your family. The list below identifies ways you can get involved. Individuals interested in volunteering at the ReStore should contact the Individual Volunteer Coordinator at 612-331-4090 ext. 7114 or volunteer@tchabitat.org.  Groups interested in volunteering at the ReStore should call 612-331-4090 ext. 4.

Our regular volunteer needs include Customer Service, Cashier, Pickup assistance, Store Maintenance, Stocking, and much more.
