Volunteer crews are on Week One of this story-and-a-half new construction on Edgerton Street in St. Paul.

Volunteers from Travelers are framing the first floor and completing exterior walls on the home, which will include three bedrooms and one bathroom.

Since 1990, Travelers has committed over 3,000 volunteers and 50,000 volunteer hours to sponsor and build 22 homes in the Twin Cities.

The home will be purchased by the Degaga-Zemikael Family: Hiwot Zemikael and Matyas Degaga, Ethiopian natives, and their children Mikale and baby Aron.
