A Unique, Generous Donation for the ReStore

A Unique, Generous Donation for the ReStore

Earlier this month, ReStore driver Don Gustafson and volunteer Bob Kessler, traveled to Dundas, Minnesota to pick a generous donation from Sharon Ellsworth.

Antique Brass Donation for the ReStore

In total, the crew loaded up 60 boxes worth of antique brass hardware from Heirloom Brass Company, which was formerly run by Sharon's brother, Ray Mjelde, who passed away last year. The material consisted of ornate brass furniture hardware, including hinges, handles, knobs, locks, and various pulls, hooks, keys and lamp parts.

Sharon made this generous donation after assuming responsibility for liquidating her late brother's business property and inventory. She was pleased that the ReStore was able to pick up the inventory and that the proceeds from the donation would be used by Habitat for Humanity.
