We've got plenty of ways for volunteers to help us out on a build or home repair site, at the ReStore, or in our main office!

  1. Volunteer on a Habitat build or A Brush with Kindness home repair project (no experience necessary!)

    •  Age Requirements for Home Building and Home Repair volunteer opportunities: Must be at least 16 years old with a chaperone; Anyone 18 years or older can volunteer on their own.

  2. Volunteer at the Twin Cities Habitat ReStore home improvement outlets. The ReStore outlets are always looking for volunteers to help greet shoppers and organize the store. (Note: Must be at least 14 years old with a chaperone; Anyone 16 years or older can volunteer on their own.)

  3. Learn new skills and meet other great volunteers when you join a regular crew.

  4. Stay informed about future volunteerism, unique opportunities, and last-minute needs by signing up for our Volunteer Emails!

  5. Join one of Habitat’s wonderful committees: Habitat Young Professionals, Dedications Committee, Women Build Committee, Veterans Steering Committee

  6. Bake cookies to be distributed to other wonderful volunteers by becoming a Cookie Baker!

  7. Come and join us for a Landscaping project! (Note: Any volunteers under the age of 16 must have an adult over 21 with them to volunteer.)

  8. Assist our Family Services team by volunteering in our Program Information Center.
