Whether you want to get out of the house and volunteer or make your space more joyful and creative, you can do both of these things and stay warm and cozy the entire time. This edition of the ReStore Recap will provide plenty of DIY projects, opportunities to volunteer at our ReStore locations to become a Winter Warrior, plus a couple of great features on partnerships that have blossomed throughout the year.
ASLA, the American Society of Landscape Architects, is partnering with ReStore to support communities and combat climate change. ASLA's members design parks, gardens, and playgrounds, and are committed to creating sustainable designs. After hosting their annual conference in Minneapolis in 2023, ASLA donated over 290,500 pounds of materials to ReStore and hopes to maintain a long-term partnership for years to come.
Melissa Evans and Kristin Campbell, co-founders of the Minneapolis Area chapter of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), recently partnered with ReStore to support future Habitat homebuyers by transforming a vacant Habitat home into a welcoming space. The project highlights the power of an inviting, well-furnished space in elevating hope and improving lives.
