**The idea is simple: You shop. Amazon gives.**

Through the [AmazonSmile program](https://smile.amazon.com/), shoppers are able to designate which charitable organization they'd like to support with their Amazon purchases. Amazon then donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases to the organization you've selected. The best part is, anyone can sign up and it doesn’t cost shoppers any extra!

To get started, visit [smile.amazon.com](https://smile.amazon.com/) and search for and select the charity of your choice.

Then, shop as you normally would! The key is to **make sure you're shopping through the AmazonSmile website**, and not the traditional amazon.com site. Each time you shop, head to smile.amazon.com to begin browsing!
