This home is going up fast! It wasn't long ago that this was an empty lot. In less than three weeks of work our volunteer crews have the entire home framed inside and out and a complete garage built. Volunteers from Kraft Foods spent the day putting on siding and building the roof for the porch. The city of Fridley sent a camera crew over to film the site for a public access TV program about development. Site Supervisor Chad Formo hopes to get all the exterior work done before the snow starts falling. Muslima, the mother from the family buying the home, was on site helping side the garage. She's good with the hammer and has learned a lot as she helps build her future home.
