Join Habitat as we Ride for Home

Two thousand homes. 2,000 families in safe, stable, affordable housing because of the work of Habitat affiliates across the state of Minnesota. Come celebrate this incredible milestone with Twin Cities Habitat as we hop on our bikes to Ride for Home

On Saturday, July 21, we are proud to present two Ride for Home routes for bikers: a five-mile family ride and a 40-mile loop from Minneapolis down through Hopkins and Minnetonka to beautiful Wayzata and back past scenic Medicine Lake and Golden Valley.

Both rides will start and end at the Jewish Community Center in Minneapolis, where construction on the 2,000th Habitat home will have begun just down the road.

The 40-mile route also loops in with a very special ride, the Habitat 500. This annual seven-day, 500-mile ride presented by Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota is an impressive display of the determination and drive of Habitat supporters. After returning to the JCC, all riders will have a special opportunity to participate in our Annual Homeowner’s Picnic. This family-friendly picnic lunch will offer our riders the chance to mingle with the Hab500 riders and our fabulous homeowners in a relaxed and casual setting.

The Twin Cities offer a wealth of biking opportunities, but we know that this will be a uniquely special ride, and we hope you will join us for a day of fun, exercise, and celebration. Register now!
