A New Home for Habitat

Increasing Our Impact

We’re serving more families than ever before.

A new home for Habitat will ensure we continue to meet the growing need. The new facility will provide the needed space, technology and access to increase the impact and efficiency of our work.

Why do we need to move?

Twin Cities Habitat began in a church basement in 1985 and built a home for one family. To date more than 1,000 families have purchased Twin Cities Habitat homes and our A World of Hope: It Starts at Home campaign is slated to expand our family parnterships to beyond 5,200 over the next four years.  We’re serving more families than ever before and our current facility has been an obstacle to our aspirational goals.  It was built for 30 employees—now more than 60 work here.  Ongoing repairs are expensive, technology is outdated, parking and access limited.  Not only will our new home provide the needed space and updated technology to sustain our increased capacity into the future; our partner families are counting on our investment.
