Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships are critical to our programs, which help to restore hope, help break the cycle of poverty, and ensure more children grow up in a stable healthy home where they can truly thrive. You will see the impact of your contribution and feel the satisfaction of knowing that impact will last for generations.

Homebuilding - New Construction & Rehab

Sponsor the building and rehab of quality homes in partnership with low-income families and the community. We sell the homes with an affordable mortgage.

Recognition Levels & Benefits

These sponsorship levels relate to the financial commitment made toward the construction of an individual home or a single unit of a multi-family home. Please note that the benefits are cumulative.

Volunteering is optional. You choose how much, if any, volunteer time you would like within the guidelines noted below.

Primary House Sponsors

One primary sponsorship is offered per home, which provides the majority of the financial resources needed to build or rehabilitate a home.



Volunteer up to ten weeks on a Habitat home.

Volunteer up to eight weeks on a Habitat home.

Exclusive “Thank You” message to your organization on Minnesota Public Radio



Volunteer up to six weeks on a Habitat home.

  • two-year, $200,000 grant and
  • three-year, $1,000,000 program-related investment

  • 2-year, $200,000 grant for our Advocacy program, which aims to bolster affordable housing policy and programs in the state
  • $500,000 Strategic Innovation award to support Twin Cities Habitat’s program redesign incorporating three major innovations

MN Home Ownership Center- $16,875 to support our Homeownership Development department, specifically one-on-one financial coaching

Community Action Program of Hennepin County - $50,000 to support A Brush with Kindness home repair and maintenance projects for low-income homeowners in Minneapolis

These "take charge" traits also apply to Habitat homebuyers. That's what John Bergstrom, a co-founder of Entrepreneurs House, noticed when he first volunteered with Habitat. And that's how "E-House", as we affectionately call it, got started in 2003.
