What's a Home Celebration?

Come together with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity for a fun and interactive event, celebrating the joys of homeownership! We're celebrating all homeowners, especially those who have closed on their homes since 2022, and the contributions of our amazing volunteers, donors, and sponsors. 

This event is an open house—come and go as you please. 

Here are just a few things you’ll be able to do at this family-friendly event:

  • Participate in games, activities, and crafts
  • Meet some of the volunteers, sponsors, staff, and other organizations who support Habitat's mission
  • Learn some helpful tips and tricks about home maintenance and DIY projects – and share your own!
  • Enjoy music, dancing, and entertainment from Twin Cities Road Crew
  • Tour our beautiful Harrison Townhomes build site
  • A delicious lunch provided by Bag Lady's Catering

 

Why Home Celebrations?

Home Celebrations are intended to celebrate the community that comes together to create affordable, stable homeownership.

The house is the collective achievement of the Habitat community—homebuyers, Habitat, staff, board members, friends/family of homebuyers, volunteers, sponsors, donors, neighbors, community members, and elected officials.

These events provide a fun and engaging opportunity to welcome our new homebuyers to the wider Habitat for Humanity community!
