Movements That Inspire
Celebrate the launch of an inspirational new program: Pope Leo Village! Inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s commitment to social justice, compassion, and service, this national interfaith movement unites people of all backgrounds to build homes, community, and hope.
Locally, Pope Leo Village will help build five homes at The Heights on St. Paul’s Greater East Side. Volunteer opportunities extend to other build sites around the metro and our ReStore locations.
Join us as we kick off this interfaith movement with faith groups, community leaders, neighbors, and supporters. The event includes refreshments, speaking program featuring Archbishop Bernard Hebda, and a ceremonial wall-raising. We hope to see you there!
Please RSVP by Friday, July 3, 2026, with the form below.
More About The Heights
The Heights is a transformational development taking shape on St. Paul’s Greater East Side that will prioritize community connectivity, affordable housing, and outdoor amenities to residents who live, work, and visit the area. Construction is currently underway!
Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is building 147 mid-density affordable homes on 12 acres that was previously the Hillcrest Golf Course. The majority will be dual townhomes and row homes, with some single-family homes. The Heights is the largest project in Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity’s history.
Creating mixed-use affordable housing (rental and homeownership) will bring housing, employment opportunities, and public amenities to this richly diverse St. Paul community.
