Date: Tuesday, September 16, 2025
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Virtual via Zoom - link will be emailed to you
In recent months, there has been a rise in visible interactions between law enforcement and immigrant communities across the U.S. Please join us for our September Volunteer and Learn session in partnership with COPAL MN (Communities Organizing Latine Power and Action). We will learn together about the rights you have as a bystander if you witness ICE interacting with your neighbors as well as your rights if ICE is targeting you or your loved ones. We will also talk about the difference between public and private space, and different types of warrants. To protect your privacy, we will not be recording attendance and we are not requiring you to sign up with your full name or email address. This will be a virtual webinar session hosted on Zoom and cameras will not be required.
The link will be emailed the week of the event - mark your calendars! If you have any questions, please email homeowner@tchabitat.org
**Note: Our presenters are not lawyers and will not be giving legal advice specifically, this training is intended to increase awareness of your rights for yourself and for how you can support other individuals in your community.
