Sandy has years of experience working with first-time homebuyers and has been involved in many affordable housing developments, including Lofts on Arts Avenue, Artists on Chicago, St. Anthony Condominiums, and the Historic Leithauser Lofts.
Sandy served on the original board of the Home Ownership Center and has taught many classes about homeownership for community groups, the African Development Corporation, PRG Inc., and Neighborhood Housing Services. She previously served on both the Minneapolis Property Tax Appeals Board and the Housing Appeals Board, giving her valuable insight into property tax matters and city code ordinances.
"I’m excited to partner with Habitat on The Heights and help create housing opportunities for all, because a healthy life begins with a permanent address," Sandy says.
