Wow—what a special birthday this will be! Thank you for choosing to celebrate by supporting your Twin Cities community. Before your birthday comes around, here are some next steps to get ready:
1. Prepare to fundraise. Check out our article filled with fundraising tips: Fundraise for your Birthday... It's a piece of cake!
2. Build your webpage. You'll get an email with instructions on how to customize your donation page on Funraise, our online donations partner. Have fun with it! You can add pictures, a message of your own, and more.
3. Get inspired by others! Read stories of fellow volunteers, donors, and fundraisers, who have used their creativity and their birthday as a way to support Habitat.
- You could take a look at our Volunteer Highlight on Julie Loomis, who said "I'd rather you make a donation to Habitat or come out and volunteer with me than give me a birthday card."
