The need for safe, decent housing affects everyone in the world. That's why the United Nations in 1985 designated the first Monday in October as World Habitat Day. The theme this year is Many homes, one community. This theme fits perfectly with the work of Twin Cities Habitat and all its supporters. We have been focusing our outreach and community development efforts in St. Paul on the Frogtown and Rondo neighborhoods. We are building homes, repairing homes, and building and repairing community. Our success is the neighborhood’s success. We are making the idea of Many homes, one community into the reality on the ground.
