Special Opportunity for Give to the Max

Special Opportunity for Give to the Max

It’s time for Give to the Max, Minnesota’s great give-together! On November 17, 2022, generous donors like you all across Minnesota will give to nonprofits they care about. It has become Minnesota's most generous day of the year. But at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, we're getting the party started early. From now to November 17, 2022, your gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar. Thanks to The CenterPoint Energy Foundation for providing this generous match.

So please don't wait—send your gift right now!

Your gifts for Give to the Max will help 17 families buy safe, stable, affordable homes in 2023. Families will be impacted for generations thanks to your generosity.

This year, you have a really unique opportunity to make a bigger difference than ever with your Give to the Max gift. Here's why:

  • Families are facing sky-high rents and a near-impossible homebuying market in the Harrison neighborhood of Minneapolis. Plus, new development is pushing prices even higher—many are in danger of being priced out.

  • In response, Twin Cities Habitat recently kicked off the construction of 17 townhomes in the Harrison neighborhood. It's one of our largest Minneapolis developments ever. Plus, all 17 families should be able to move in throughout 2023.

  • This groundbreaking project is bringing together housing nonprofits, the city, corporate partners, and neighborhood groups. But we're facing a funding gap that we need to make up.

Now we need you to help us build forward together. Giving your gift by November 17 will make sure 17 families have stable, affordable Habitat homes next year. Can you give right now?

Your gifts will fill a funding gap for the development of 17 new townhomes. Here's an idea of what this beautiful new community will look like with your support.

Partnerships are already in place. Our partners at The CenterPoint Energy Foundation believe so much in this project that they’re doubling your gift through November 17. All that’s needed is you.

Typically, on Give to the Max we raise enough funds to sponsor one local family to become Habitat homeowners. This year, because of this unique funding gap for our Harrison townhome development, your gift will help ensure 17 local families become homeowners.

Think about that. With your gift, dozens of kids will have rooms of their own for the first time. Parents will have stable, affordable payments so they can save for the future. And neighbors won’t have to be displaced by rising costs.

Please send your most generous gift by November 17.
