If you've ever shopped or volunteered at the Twin Cities Habitat ReStore, you may remember seeing this right when you walked in the door:
While beautiful and spotless these porcelain thrones may be, we've decided that maybe they're not the best thing to greet shoppers as they enter our thrifty home improvement emporium. But our mission to revitalize the ReStore goes beyond moving toilets. Thanks to some generous in-kind work from Target, the entire Restore is getting a refresh this week, and we think you'll be pleasantly surprised once it's done.
For starters, we're moving the old front desk from its current location right in the thick of shopper traffic...
...to where this old, unused Vinyl flooring carousel is currently, freeing up room and opening more counter space.
We'll also be adding a variety of flourishes to make the ReStore look sharper, better displaying our wares and making it easier for shoppers to find what they need. The refreshed Restore will be open for business on Tuesday, March 26. We'd love to see you stop by!
