The New Brighton ReStore: A Great Resource for Local Set Designers

The New Brighton ReStore: A Great Resource for Local Set Designers

If you’re one of the talented individuals working in the world of set design, then you’ll definitely want to make a stop by the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

The ReStore is a great resource of new and gently used home improvement products and building materials. This includes items commonly found on theater sets, like doors, windows, cabinets, vintage lighting – but at 50 – 75% off retail prices! You can also find great deals on lumber, hardware, tools and other set-building necessities, with new inventory arriving each week. Say “hello” to the ReStore staff and whisper that you have an art project that could utilize the the “super-secret Theatre Arts discount”.

And when it comes to tear down, consider donating your materials to the ReStore. Donations are tax deductible and 100% of proceeds support Habitat’s mission to eliminate poverty in the Twin cities. Plus, you’ll be keeping good, reusable materials in use and out of landfills. Be sure to review our donation guidelines, before you drop off materials, or schedule a pick up.
