Each National Homeownership Month (June), Twin Cities Habitat celebrates the creativity, resourcefulness, and joy of Habitat homeowners with our annual Homeownership Photo Contest. This year, we asked homeowners to show us what DIY projects they've completed. View the results!
From putting up curtains, restyling rooms, and enhancing landscaping, our Habitat homeowners have been busy turning their houses into homes. Homes that reflect their personality, their charm, and their families. The top entries won VISA gift cards, and all participants received a coupon to ReStore home improvement outlets.

"One wall of this room was an open office and was converted into my son’s bedroom by walling it up. I also made the shelves on the wall and painted them blue and remodeled the closet. (Design, cut, finish everything)"
