Two Harbors Investment Corp. Announces Partnership with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity

Two Harbors InvestmentsTwin Cities Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce a new partnership with Two Harbors Investment Corp. Along with community volunteers and faith based partners, corporate partners like Two Harbors Investment Corp. will help Habitat build four homes each year over the next three years at the site.

“We are pleased to form this partnership with the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity,” said Thomas Siering, Two Harbors’ President and Chief Executive Officer. “This is a great way for us to strengthen the local community by helping provide affordable housing to families in need.”

Mihret Wolde and Alemayehu Kulbado are just one of the dozen families that will eventually reside in the Mississippi Dunes Townhomes. Mihret and Alemayehu both moved to Minnesota from Ethiopia. The couple and their two children look forward to having enough space for everyone and the privacy that comes along with owning a home. After buying their house, the couple plans to continue their children’s education, find better jobs, and improve their way of life.
