GAF Donates 10 Roofs to Twin Cities Habitat In 2013

GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, will continue its partnership with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity this year. The company is donating 10 roofs to Habitat homes located throughout the Twin Cities.

The team of GAF’s partnering certified contractors include: All American Restoration, Garlock French Roofing Corporation, Krech Exteriors, Roof Company NA, Inc. and Springer Construction Services. They will provide pro-bono labor, installing roofs alongside Twin Cities Habitat volunteers.

One of the roofs will be installed at a Twin Cities’ Habitat Women Build site. The Women Build program brings together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide. “GAF’s generosity lifts a lot of burden off us. They really do amazing, high quality work,” said Collette King, this year's Women Build site supervisor.

GAF Regional Manager Lance Hoaglund feels partnerships with organizations like Twin Cities Habitat are central to the way the company does business in the community. "We are American made, American owned, and support any way we can contribute to the betterment of our country," Lance said. "With numerous programs from the largest and most well know, Habitat for Humanity, to Roofs for Troops or No Roof Left Behind, all these programs help build a better community and give back to people in need."
